Harry Shotta “Cut From A Different Cloth”

As the UK takes shots from the USA, One of the most versatile talents in the UK Harry Shotta is back with new track “Cut From A Different Cloth” showing  the world the UK isn’t to be messed with.

Well 2016 has been far from boring, this past week has been dominated by the vile twitter rants from Azealia Banks. Amongst other nasty tweets, she fired shots at the UK rap scene which we can safely say covers everything from HipHop through to Grime. She claimed the UK has “No Swagger” and UK rappers in essence can’t rap!

I am not sure if this is just a happy coincidence but up steps the record breaking and most versatile MC the UK has ever had, Sir Harry Shotta take a bow. Now regardless of what Azealia Banks thinks. We all know that the UK has more swagger and our MC’s can hold it down amongst the best of them, Harry Shotta out did Eminem remember and broke his world record on “Animal”.

A man who evidently loves all elements of his craft Harry Shotta is at home on HipHop, Grime, D&B and probably even classical music. Thought provoking lyrical content delivered with single and double time flows, as always he is on fire on “Cut From A Different Cloth.” A piano driven, murky, hypnotic production is his stage and he doesn’t let us down, Harry Shotta as always one of the best to ever do it.

Everything from Soul, Jazz, Classical, Rock, Pop you name it, it was on the stereo when I was growing up. I got into HipHop in 93/94 and the rest as they say is history! From a long haired skateboard kid growing up in Glastonbury, via Edinburgh for a few years. Now making moves in London for the last ten years and counting. My journey has been fuelled by music. I have been DJ'ing for the best part of ten years, starting of as a DMC battle DJ after smashing my way through the Scottish DMC finals, through to the London DMC finals. I turned my hand to mix cds, then radio, as well as tearing up dance floors from Edinburgh to London town then back again. Sharing the stage with everyone from Trevor Nelson to Cutmaster Swift along the way. I have passed my knowledge and skills on as a DJ tutor and I was the scratch DJ for Sky Sports, for their weekly football show "Premier League Preview". My blog here is to keep you up to date with the latest news from the urban world, reviews, write ups, features. As well as positive, mindful blogs, tell a friend to tell a friend.
