Ocean Wisdom – Fire In The Booth.

Ocean Wisdom steps up for his long awaited Fire In The Booth.

Brightons Ocean Wisdom has been steadily building a name for himself in hiphop for the last 18 months or so. With his debut album ‘Chaos 93’ showing the world how much of an epic talent Ocean is, with the chart positions and numbers to back it up. Then recently taking Eminem’s world record as the fastest Mc on a single pop track. Throw in european tours, sold out shows across the UK and now his debut fire in the booth. Things couldn’t get any better for the brightest new star in hiphop.

This has been long awaited and due to a hectic touring schedule, this has been put off and off. The good news is that it was 100% worth the wait! Ocean is one of the most versatile Mcs around regardless of genre he comes and does damage no questions asked.

Set over three beats starting us of on grime. Ocean goes in like Vin Diesel pressing go on the NOS in Fast N Furious, double timing with grime lyrics, styles and flows over a classic grime instrumental not missing a beat once. The second track is slightly down tempo hiphop and shows Ocean has many, many strings to his bow. Traditional hiphop flows, meet traditional hiphop lyrical patterns, razor edge flows ride the track with ease. Throwing in references to Chip, Wretch and some of the most classic fire in the booths so far. Topping it off the gloves come off on the third and final track. Ocean spits pure fire, hype, energy and aggression. Letting everyone know, that he can hit you like a sledge hammer to the face when he wants to. Finishing it off with double and borderline triple time flows the wow factor is truly off the scale here.

Charlie Sloth says it best, every fire in the booth the level keeps getting raised! Ocean Wisdom has put his stamp on this and this is without a doubt the fire in the booth to beat in 016.

I have been saying this for over two years now, Ocean Wisdom is the future of hiphop in the UK and Europe.

His debut album ‘Chaos 93’ is out now on High Focus records.
