Charlie Sloth sits down with Chip.

Charlie Sloth sits down with Chip this Saturday 22.00 BBC Radio One.

This is seriously long over due, Charlie Sloth sits down with Chip for a no holds barred chat.

Over the last 12 months a lot has happened in UK music and Chip has gone to war with pretty much everyone. Big Narstie, Yungen, Tinie Tempha to name a few all came under fire from Chip and of course most famously Manchester’s Bugzy Malone. Quite arguably one of the most exciting grime wars to date Chip Vs Bugzy Malone had the whole country talking and taking sides. With Charlie Sloth being at the top of the pyramid for UK music. A lot of people were wondering myself included why he wasn’t playing Chip diss records which were pure fire. As well as wondering why Charlie Sloth didn’t take sides or comment in the main stream on the Chip Vs Bugzy war.

Bugzy Malone came out of the war on fire, with chart topping EPs and one of the best fire in the booths to date. Signed to Charlie Sloth’s label Grimey Limey Bugzy has been a huge asset and it goes to show that Charlie Sloth 100% knows what grime, hiphop and UK lyricism needs.

This Saturday from 22.00 on BBC Radio One Charlie Sloth invites Chip to ask him anything he wants. Obviously where there are people there are politics and i know i am as responsible as anyone else for taking sides. When Chip went to war with Bugzy i was team Chip and my twitter was alive with my own tweets and retweets supporting Chip. In the world we live in its easy for things to be taken out of context and outside looking in is very different to inside looking out.

Charlie Sloth really goes to show why he is the best in the game. Putting aside any egos and rumours and sitting down with Chip to chop it all up and clear the air. This is going to be a ground breaking interview, so set your watch.

Tune in this Saturday 22.00 BBC Radio One, Fm, Digital or online.
