A huge fan of HipHop and D&B Harry rose through the ranks of the tight knit D&B scene with ease and finesse a naturally gifted talent he truly is one of a kind. He has scoped up three D&B awards including best Lyrical MC as well as being nominated for countless others.

One of the busiest MCs in the scene, doing countless shows all across the UK, Europe and beyond week in week out. Harry Shotta is a man who is in huge demand. Harry pushed the levels again when he led the first ever D&B ‘Fire In The Booth Cypher’ alongside: Skibadee, Eksman, Dreps, Grima & Azza. Taking D&B lyricism to an audience of millions live and direct via Radio One.

 Harry’s legendary 52 week run on DJ Semtex’s show on 1xtra where he flipped the news into Rap each week, built into the Shotta machine an incredible discipline to write new and entertaining lyrics. With a ferocious appetite to write new material Harry wrote a batch of songs that would be released through SBTV as the ‘Twelve Months’ mixtape. As all the tracks were actually written in a twelve month cycle this was an ideal platform for his debut book ‘Twelve Months’ where he explored in a deeper sense the eighteen tracks that were recorded. Most of us know Harry for being a versatile D&B MC with passion, fire, flow and energy. Yet Harry can and does tear down any riddim he is on, HipHop, Breaks, Grime whatever it maybe Mr Shotta doesn’t like to be pigeon hold with just one genre. A certified Guinness Book Of World Records record breaker for the epic ‘Animal’ fitting in 1771 words into one track, beating Eminem’s previous world record for ‘Rap God’ where he managed 1560 words in the same track time. The reaction to this was a tidal wave of social media interest, record label A&Rs reaching out to Harry and of course the huge worldwide acclaim .
